deia work in organizations has been shown to improve productivity, innovation and moral.  We will discuss how to continue this work in the current climate.  Part of this will involve how to protect and support our students, staff, colleagues, fellow humans and ourselves. Part will be a discussion of DEIA in physics and an ongoing initiative to improve the situation in science.  We will discuss ongoing work in the American Physical Society - Division of Plasma Physics (APS-DPP)  to improve our Diversity, Equity,  Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA). While this is very much a work in progress we have started to implement an Evidence Based Approach (EBA) to move forward and  site selection process to choose "appropriate" locations for meetings and conferences. These approaches will be presented with a discussion about the need and other efforts in this area (some specifically aim toward the DPP LGBT+ community and Women in Plasma Physics.  Discussion will be welcome (strongly encouraged).  Underlying this presentation is the idea that everyone deserves safety (psychological and physical) as they pursue their goals.
